The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County will be holding a stakeholders meeting to discuss the Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Marine Program's work on the Peconic Estuary Kelp Aquaculture Feasibility Study.

This meeting will provide an introduction to the current status of the Peconic Estuary Kelp Aquaculture Feasibility Project (funded by the Suffolk County Water Quality Protection and Restoration Program and Land Stewardship Initiative) and provide a Q & A session with a panel of key researchers and regulatory agencies.

The date for the Informational Meeting for Prospective Lease Applicants has been changed. Please see the revised Public Notice for the new meeting date.

The Department of Economic Development and Planning, Division of Planning and Environment has scheduled an Informational Meeting for Prospective Lease Applicants. This meeting will be geared towards people who are interested in applying for a lease in the upcoming 2018 Lease Application Cycle; and will focus on the lease application process and program requirements.
