FACE TO FACE: Do you have a loved one in the Armed Forces who is far from home? Face to Face is for you. Call Mary Koferl, 273-7883, ext 309 for details. There is no fee for this service.
Bus Trip Radio City Music Hall - Wednesday, December 9. The bus will leave at 9:00 am from the library parking lot and arrive in time for sightseeing and lunch. The cost is $60 in cash. Limit 4 tickets per person.

Defensive Driving: Classes: Saturdays, November 7 & December 5: Sponsored by the Empire Safety Council, six-hour course saves ten percent on comprehensive and liability insurance for three years and removes up to four points from a driver's record. $27 in cash or money order payable to Empire Safety Council on the day of the class. Registration for Brentwood residents begins October 24, for the November classes and November 14 for the December classes.
Cultural Corner: Spanish Poetry / Letras y Voces: Wednesdays, November 18 & December 16, 7:00 - 8:30 PM.
International Cafe: If you are interested in meeting new people from different countries, please join us on Sunday, November 29, from 2:00-4:00 pm, in the reading room by the fireplace.
Second Cup of Coffee Job Club: We meet to network, share information and resources, and improve job search skills in a supportive environment. Meetings are held on Wednesdays: November 11, December 9, December 16, 9:30 - 11:00 am. Note there is no meeting November 25th.
