Suffolk County Office of Emergency Management wants you to know what Storm Surge Zone you live in. Use the County’s “Know Your Zone” Interactive Map so you can plan and prepare in the event there is a need to evacuate when a storm surge affects Long Island.

Residents and visitors can identify the Storm Surge Zone they are in by using this Interactive Map. Please note: Storm Surges are not only localized to ocean facing properties but also affect both north and south shores as well as low-lying inland areas that may be near a waterway between the eastern forks and inland bays.
