  Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on February 19, 2021. Last updated February 18, 2020.

COVID-19 Vaccine Information -  As of February 19 in Suffolk County

COVID-19 Viral Testing: On February 18:

  • 17,386  COVID-19 tests were administered
  • 2,780,899 total tests have been administered since March
  • 714  new cases were reported
  • 156,914  total cases have been reported since March
  • 5.6% of those tested since March have been confirmed positive for COVID-19
  • 4.1% tested positive in Suffolk County yesterday; 4.3% positive on a 7-day average
  • 4.3% tested positive on Long Island yesterday; 4.4% positive on a 7-day average

Antibody TestingSuffolk County

  • 38,732 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 have tested positive for antibodies
  • 337,714  total were tested for antibodies

Fatalities, Suffolk County

  • 13 fatalities
  • 3,013  total fatalities

Hospitalization, Suffolk County, data from February 18, 2021

  • 490 individuals were hospitalized, a decrease of 47 in 24 hours
  • 35 were new admissions
  • 101 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a decrease of 2 in 24 hours
  • 73 patients were in the ICU and intubated
  • 56  were discharged since the last report
  • 11,394  discharged since March 22
