Green Key Card

  1. Green Key identifies holder (except non-resident card) as a Suffolk County resident and ensures reduced fees for park activities. Park Fees are established by County Legislature, Click Here to View Fee Schedule.
  2. Green Key Card provides access to parks reservation system and establishes rates for services at Suffolk County Parks.
  3. All Resident Green Keys are valid for three (3) years from date of purchase with exception of an Active Military Green Key that is valid for one year (expires at end of calendar year) and Non-Resident Keys are Valid for 1 year (expires one year from date of purchase)
  4. Applicable Discounts apply to Green Key Cardholders only & are non-transferable, even in same household.
  5. Green Key Categories are defined as follows:

  • Letter on Department Letterhead stating their status is “ACTIVE” with current date, no more than 6 months old.
Veteran Suffolk County Resident who served in the Armed Forces

  • DD214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty)
  • Suffolk County Resident Veteran ID Card
Disabled Veteran Suffolk County Resident determined to be a
disabled veteran by Veteran Affairs

and

Red, White, and Blue Veterans Administration ID Card from DVA, with photo saying “SERVICE CONNECTED” underneath.

Active Military Suffolk County Resident who is active military or
active military personnel stationed in Suffolk County. Discount is applicable for immediate family only (i.e. spouse and children)
