Suffolk County Parks is happy to offer Memorial Benches as a way to memorialize a loved one. This program allows for a 6ft benches to be placed in a park location of your choice (if approved), with a personalized memorial plaque affixed to the bench. We do allow for the inscription to be provided by the donor.

If you are interested in purchasing a memorial bench, please complete the application and email it to scparks@suffolkcountyny.gov. Once we have approved your application and location, we will provide you with a letter with instructions on how to complete the process for bench and plaque purchase.

The timeline for the process can vary, but typically takes 30-60 days for the bench and plaque to be built.
