January 12, 2025 - Suffolk County Comptroller John M. Kennedy, Jr. joined County Executive Edward P. Romaine along with Suffolk County Legislators and Elected Officials in celebrating Cadet/Junior/Explorer Graduates. The Suffolk County Fire Academy holds these programs to allow junior firefighters to start classroom training at the age of 16. These future members of the volunteer fire service now have a head start in fulfilling the requirements of their individual fire departments to become active firefighters. Congratulations to All!!
