The Suffolk County Marathon will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 and will take place along Montauk Highway from East Islip through Patchogue.  As such, Montauk Highway will be closed from 7:00 am until 2:00 pm, but crossovers will be allowed as runners pass.  If you have golf reservations this day, please enter the golf course via the following route:

Timber Point Golf Course – Great River:  Take Southern State Parkway (south) to exit 46.  Then take Timber Point Road to River Road and then the golf course entrance will be on your right. 

West Sayville Golf Course – West Sayville:  From Sunrise Highway, take exit 48 and head South on Locust Avenue.  Turn left on Gale Rd.  Turn right onto Matthews Rd., left on Brook Street and then a right onto Rollstone Ave.  This will take you to entrance directly across from the Golf Course.  Please take direction from Police or Security at this intersection for crossing into the golf course.

**ATTENTION: Slips 9 - 16 and Slip 23 at Shinnecock Marina currently do not have electric service. **

WEST NILE UPDATE:  Effective July 31, 2015 - Mosquitoes collected from Blydenburgh County Park have been tested positive for the West Nile Virus.  As a result, the campground has been closed and activities have been restricted to daylight hours. The Park will remain open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, but park visitors are still encouraged to take necessary precautions to avoid being bitten.  This includes proper clothing and the use of a mosquito repellent while staying outdoors.  Campers will have the option to be refunded for the days left remaining on the reservation or to move to a different campground. Please
