The Suffolk County Parks Department has a Preferred Camper Rental Provider Program. As the Department often gets requests for camper rental vendor referrals, companies can apply to be placed on the Suffolk County Parks Preferred Camper Rental Provider List. This program is intended to help local camping rental vendors promote their companies to Suffolk County campers and Green Key holders as well as assist patrons in finding reputable camper rental companies to utilize while camping at Suffolk County Parks.
The Preferred Camper Rental Provider Program provides the following benefits:
- Marketing and Advertising by the Parks Department through its web page and social media pages as well as through direct emails to the Parks Green Key card membership.
- Referrals to Campers who contact Suffolk County about Camper Rentals
- Links from the Parks website directly to your camper rental business for rental registration and information.
- Expedited registration process at campground check-in. (Expedited Check-In)
- Verification of your business to Suffolk County Park campers and customers, ensuring that you are a local business, and that your company’s insurance and New York State Registration is compliant with laws as well as Suffolk County Park Policy.
The Preferred Camper Rental Vendor list fee is $750 per calendar year.
