The Suffolk County Parks Department is pleased to announce that the construction to electrify the Cathedral Pines campground is almost complete. The improvements included a reconfiguration of the campsite road network and layout, electrification of all 80 camp sites with new asphalt camping pads, power pedestals, fire rings, and barbecues.
Cathedral Pines Park and Campgrounds will reopen on June 1, 2024, to the general public. Reservations for the campground can be made in advance using the reservation system, starting at 7pm on May 8, 2024.
