Group Camping

There's nothing quite as fun as camping with your friends and family. That's why Suffolk County Parks offer group areas and outside pavilions, geared to keeping everyone in your "camping family" happy. Group camping areas can be the perfect location for your family reunion or group outing. Group camps range in accommodations from 7 to 20 sites (10 site minimum on holiday weekends) for a minimum of 3 night stay.

Our parks offer a remarkable diversity of natural settings including views of the beautiful Peconic, Carmans and Nissequogue Rivers, Bellows and Stump Pond, Gardiners Bay or the majestic White Pine forest of Cathedral Pines.

To apply for a Group Camping site you will need to fill out the Group Camping Permit Application available HERE and email it to West Sayville Admin Office at Applications must be submitted to Suffolk County Parks at least 2 weeks prior to event date.

Deciding where to Group Camp? Blydenburgh, Cathedral Pines, Indian Island, Sears Bellows, Cedar Point and Southaven.

We will begin reviewing Group Camping Permit Applications on March 1st. Early applications will not be accepted.
