Playgrounds of all sizes and shapes can be found scattered throughout the Suffolk County Parks. Playgrounds allow children to play an explore the outdoors, supported by a wide range of structures and spaces. Play is incredibly important to the development of children’s social and physical development, as well as creativity and imagination. At our many playgrounds children can pretend, role play, make new friends and interact with children of all age groups. Suffolk County Parks has playgrounds at the following County Parks:
Blydenburgh, Cathedral Pines, Cedar Point, Lake Ronkonkoma, Meschutt Beach, Raynor Beach, Sears Bellows, Smith Point Beach and Campground, Southaven County Park and West Hills.
