Suffolk County reported the following confirmed cases and deaths due to COVID-19 through 2:30 p.m. on April 3, 2020
To date, more than 24,000 COVID-19 tests have been administered, an increase of approximately 2,600 from April 2.

- 1,298 patients are hospitalized (up 244 from April 2) 401 of those are in the intensive care unit (up 87 from April 2)
- 96 deaths (up 12 from April 2).
Deaths reported on April 3 at 2:30 p.m. include:
- A female in her 60s with underlying health conditions who was in mandatory isolation at a local hospital
- A female in her 80s with underlying health conditions who was in mandatory isolation at a local hospital
- A female in her 90s with underlying health conditions who was in mandatory isolation at a local hospital
- A female in her 80s with underlying health conditions who was in mandatory isolation at a local hospital
- A male in his age 40s with unknown comorbidities who was in mandatory isolation at a local hospital
- A female in her 80s with underlying health conditions who was in mandatory isolation at a local hospital
- A male in his 70s with underlying health conditions who was in mandatory isolation at a local hospital
- A male in his 50s with underlying medical conditions who was in mandatory isolation at a local hospital
- A male in his 80s with underlying health conditions who was in mandatory isolation at a local nursing home and rehabilitation facility
- A male in his 30s with who was in mandatory isolation at a local hospital
- A male in his 80s with underlying health conditions who was in mandatory isolation at a local hospital
