Suffolk Submission & Status Terminal

This terminal is a one-stop-shop for Suffolk County residents and business owners to access information regarding the permit process, submit online applications and track a permit’s progress. The goal of this terminal is to streamline and modernize the permitting process in Suffolk County facilitating economic development.

Consumer Affairs

The Office of Consumer Affairs was established to ensure equity in the marketplace and promote high standards of commercial integrity in the manufacture, distribution and sale of consumer goods and services in Suffolk County. The Office of Consumer Affairs has three major bureaus: The Bureau of Consumer Complaints, the Bureau of Licensing and the Bureau of Weights and Measures.

Clerk's Office

The Suffolk County Clerk's Office continues to develop strategies and systems that promote real-time services and facilitate worldwide communication and access. Our office receives daily inquiries from people nationwide wanting more information and we are more than eager to comply. We are constantly working to strip away layers of bureaucracy, improve access to official records, and streamline operations while containing costs.

Real Property Tax Service Agency

This office offers the folowing services: The Tax Map Division has the responsibility and is the sole authority responsible for creating and maintaining the tax maps of Suffolk County. Verification is a procedure that helps to maintain the most current information on each tax map parcel and is required by law prior to recording of many documents. Public Service Counter are happy to be of assistance if you need to locate a property on Real Property’s computers, order a tax map print, aerial photo with the tax map parcel lines, or verify your document prior to recording.

Suffolk County Economic Development Corp. (EDC)

The Suffolk County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is a local development corporation of the State of New York created in 2010, pursuant to NYS Not-For-Profit Corporation Law 1411. The primary purpose of the EDC is to promote economic development in Suffolk County by assisting not-for-profit corporations in their acquisition of capital projects.

The mission of the Suffolk County Economic Development Corporation is to promote the economic welfare, employment opportunities and quality of life of the residents of Suffolk County.

Suffolk County Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE)

Certifying your business as a Suffolk County Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) will place your information on the Suffolk County M/WBE Directory which has several advantages as listed below.

The Directory will contain a database of Minority & Women owned businesses by National Institute of Goverment Purchasing (NIGP) code stating the type of goods and services offered. This will facilitate companies seeking particular goods and services to find M/WBE's via code.
