COVID-19 Vaccine Information - As of May 7, 2021  

•         726,393  people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 3,996
•         49.0% of the total population of 1,481,093 has received at least one dose
•         61.3% of the population ages 18+ has received at least one dose  
•         561,006 people have completed their vaccine series, an increase of 7,217
•         37.8% percent of the total population of 1,481,093 have completed their vaccine series

•         757,005 was the weekly allocation of COVID-19 vaccine first doses fully delivered to New York providers during the week 4/26-5/2

• Walk-in vaccination clinics are offering vaccine to residents who are age 16+. No appointment is needed. Medical practitioners and EMS are on-site at all times to answer questions and tend to concerns. Click here for locations and times. COVID-19 Viral Testing- On May 6, 2021

• 13,154 COVID-19 tests were administered
• 3,903,194 total tests have been administered since March 2020
• 169 new cases were reported
• 198,352  total cases have been reported since March 2020
• 5.1% of those tested since March 2021 have been confirmed positive for COVID-19
• 1.3% tested positive in Suffolk County yesterday; 1.5% positive on a 7-day average
• 1.1% tested positive on Long Island yesterday; 1.4% positive on a 7-day average

Antibody Testing Suffolk County

• 52,238 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 have tested positive for antibodies
• 370,501 total were tested for antibodies

Fatalities, Suffolk County

•          3 fatalities

• 3,365 total fatalities

Hospitalization, Suffolk County, data is from May 6, 2021

• 158 individuals were hospitalized, a decrease of 4 in 24 hours
• 19 were new admissions
• 42 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an decrease of 4 in 24 hours
• 23 patients were in the ICU and intubated
• 18 were discharged since the last report
• 14,261 have been discharged since March 22,2020

• 3,117 hospital beds, 784 available, 25%
