The Suffolk County Board of Health will hold a public
hearing to listen to comments from the community concerning the addition to the
Suffolk County Sanitary Code of an Article 19, “Management of Innovative and
Alternative Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems.”

The Board of Health, at the request of the commissioner of
health services, considers matters relating to the preservation and improvement
of public health. In the event that a quorum cannot be achieved, the meeting
will be cancelled. Members of the public who plan to attend are advised to call

place.
