COVID-19 CASE UPDATE - June 15, 2020, 4:30 p.m.

Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on June 15, 2020. Last updated June 14, 2020 

Testing

  • 253,547 COVID-19 tests have been administered, an addition of 4,110 tests
  • 16.0 percent of those tested were confirmed positive for COVID-19

Tested Positive for COVID-19

  • 40,692 total cases
  • 33 new cases

Fatalities

  • 7 new fatalities
  • 1,955 total fatalities

Hospitalization, updated June 14 at 4:30 p.m.

  • 121 individuals were hospitalized, a decrease of 6
  • 38 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), no change from June 14
  • 11 new admissions
  • 8 discharged
