COVID-19 CASE UPDATE - June 24, 2020, 4:30 p.m.

Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on June 24, 2020. Last updated June 23, 2020 

Testing

  • 294,602 COVID-19 tests have been administered, an addition of 3,941 tests
  • 14.0 percent of those tested were confirmed positive for COVID-19

Tested Positive for COVID-19

  • 41,101 total cases
  • 45 new cases

Antibody Testing

  • 159,825 total tested for antibodies
  • 18,327 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 have tested positive for antibodies

Fatalities

  • 2 new fatalities
  • 1,972 total fatalities

Hospitalization, updated June 24 at 4:30 p.m.

  • 85 individuals were hospitalized, a decrease of 3
  • 25 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a decrease of 1
  • 8 new admissions
  • 14 discharged
  • 5,317 discharged since March 22
