Covid-19 Case Update April 11, 2021 5:30pm

Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on April 11, 2021. Last updated April 10, 2021.
COVID-19 Vaccine Information - As of April 11, 2021  
•       544,525 people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 5,833
•       36.8% of the total population of 1,481,093 has received at least one dose
•       332,438 people have completed their vaccine series, an increase of 7,203
•       22.4% percent of the total population of 1,481,093 has completed their vaccine series

•       1,068,455 was the weekly allocation of COVID-19 vaccine first doses fully delivered to New York providers during the week 4/5-4/11

COVID-19 Viral Testing- On April 10, 2021: 
•    16,013 COVID-19 tests were administered
•    3,562,894 total tests have been administered since March 2020
•    590  new cases were reported
•    190,014 total cases have been reported since March 2020
•    5.3% of those tested since March have been confirmed positive for COVID-19
•    3.7% tested positive in Suffolk County yesterday; 4.0% positive on a 7-day average
•    3.6% tested positive on Long Island yesterday; 3.9% positive on a 7-day average

Antibody Testing Suffolk County 
•    47,291 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 have tested positive for antibodies
•    362,227 total were tested for antibodies
Fatalities, Suffolk County 
•    1 fatalities
•    3,295 total fatalities
Hospitalization, Suffolk County, data from April 10, 2021
•    316 individuals were hospitalized, a decrease of 19 in 24 hours
•    35  were new admissions
•    78 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an increase of 3 in 24 hours
•    48 patients were in the ICU and intubated
•    51 were discharged since the last report
•    13,555 have been discharged since March 22,2020 
Hospital Capacity, Suffolk County
•    3,151 hospital beds, 848 available, 27%
•    441 ICU beds, 117 available, 27%
