COVID-19 Vaccine Information - As of May 11, 2021  

•         744,695  people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 3,019
•         50.3% of the total population of 1,481,093 has received at least one dose
•         62.7% of the population ages 18+ has received at least one dose  
•         597,256 people have completed their vaccine series, an increase of 7,419
•         40.3% percent of the total population of 1,481,093 have completed their vaccine series

•         556,950 was the weekly allocation of COVID-19 vaccine first doses fully delivered to New York providers during the week 5/3--5/9
•         Walk-in vaccination clinics are offering vaccine to residents who are age 16+. No appointment is needed. Medical practitioners and EMS are on-site at all times to answer questions and tend to concerns. Click here for locations and times. •         If you are confined to your home and wish to receive your COVID-19 vaccination, call 311. We will take your name and you will be called to schedule your free vaccination at home.

COVID-19 Viral Testing- On May 11, 2021

• 10,927 COVID-19 tests were administered
• 3,957,629 total tests have been administered since March 2020
• 119 new cases were reported
• 199,025 total cases have been reported since March 2020
• 5.0% of those tested since March 2021 have been confirmed positive for COVID-19
• 1.1% tested positive in Suffolk County yesterday; 1.2% positive on a 7-day average
• 1.1% tested positive on Long Island yesterday; 1.2% positive on a 7-day average

Antibody Testing Suffolk County

• 53,040 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 have tested positive for antibodies
• 371,744 total were tested for antibodies

Fatalities, Suffolk County

•          1 fatality

• 3,375 total fatalities

Hospitalization, Suffolk County, data is from May 11, 2021

• 140 individuals were hospitalized, an increase of 8  in 24 hours
• 15 were new admissions
• 36 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), no change in 24 hours
• 16 patients were in the ICU and intubated
• 11 were discharged since the last report
• 14,339 have been discharged since March 22,2020

• 3,140 hospital beds, 785 available, 25%
• 433 ICU beds, 133 available, 31%
