Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on June 08, 2021. Last updated June 7, 2021
COVID-19 Vaccine Information - As of June 8, 2021  
•    833,032 people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 2,462
•    56.2% of the total population of 1,481,093 has received at least one dose
•    68.7% of the population ages 18+ has received at least one dose  
•    723,247 people have completed their vaccine series, an increase of 4,790
•    48.8% percent of the total population of 1,481,093 have completed their vaccine series

•    1,047,020 was the weekly allocation of COVID-19 vaccine first doses fully delivered to New York providers during the week 5/31-6/6.
•    Walk-in vaccination clinics are offering vaccine to residents who are age 12 and older. No appointment is needed. Medical practitioners and EMS are on-site at all times to answer questions and tend to concerns. Click here for locations and times and parental consent forms. •    If you are confined to your home and wish to receive your COVID-19 vaccination, call 311. We will take your name and you will be called to schedule your free vaccination at home.
COVID-19 Viral Testing- On June 6, 2021
•    5,944 COVID-19 tests were administered
•    4,206,780 total tests have been administered since March 2020
•    32 new cases were reported
•    200,798 total cases have been reported since March 2020
•    4.8% of those tested since March 2021 have been confirmed positive for COVID-19
•    0.5% tested positive in Suffolk County yesterday; 0.4% positive on a 7-day average
•    0.5% tested positive on Long Island yesterday; 0.5% positive on a 7-day average

Antibody Testing Suffolk County
•    58,145 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 have tested positive for antibodies
•    379,051 total were tested for antibodies
Fatalities, Suffolk County 
•    1 fatality
•    3,398 total fatalities
Hospitalization, Suffolk County, data is from June 7, 2021
•    68 individuals were hospitalized, a decrease of 1 in 24 hours
•    5 were new admissions
•    18 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an increase of 1 in 24 hours
•    8 patients were in the ICU and intubated
•    5 were discharged since the last report
•    14,624 have been discharged since March 22,2020
