Suffolk County Offers Spanish Language Conference on Cancer Prevention

Riverhead, NY—The Suffolk County Department of Health Services’ Office of Minority Health will host a conference about cancer prevention, early detection of cancer, resource availability, treatments and the importance of healthy, balanced nutrition. The conference, entitled “Step by Step…Let’s Achieve Good Health” or “Paso a Paso…Alcanzaremos Una Buena Salud,” is free and targeted to Suffolk County residents whose first language is Spanish. Peconic Bay Medical Center will provide dinner and prizes.
