Benjamin Beach Reopened
West Meadow Beach, Tanner Park Beach, and Peconic Dunes Camp (Great Pond) Beach Remain Closed
The beach closure issued for Benjamin Beach in Bay Shore has been lifted, as results of recent samples show the water quality to be within acceptable levels.
West Meadow Beach in Stony Brook, Tanner Park Beach in Copiague and Peconic Dunes Camp Beach on Great Pond in Peconic remain closed to bathing due to elevated bacterial numbers.
