Southold Town Beach & Bay Hill Property Owners Association Beach Are Closed
West Meadow Beach & Tanner Park Beach Are Reopened
Peconic Dunes Camp (Great Pond) Beach Remains Closed
A beach closure was issued today for Southold Town Beach in Southold and Bay Hill Property Owners Association Beach in Huntington due to elevated bacterial numbers. West Meadow Beach in Stony Brook and Tanner Park Beach in Copiague are reopened, as results of recent samples collected show the water quality to be within acceptable levels.
Peconic Dunes Camp Beach on Great Pond in Peconic remains closed to bathing due to elevated bacterial numbers.
