The Pesticide Advisory Committee was established through Local Law 34-1999, which was enacted for the purpose of phasing out the use of pesticides by the County for many pest control purposes.
Items on the Agenda include: revising the exemption granted for golf courses; suggested revisions to the County Code regarding the Pesticide CAC and exemption requests regarding athletic fields and boat bottom paints.
