The Patient Protection Oversight Committee was created in 2013 by the Suffolk County Legislature to assist vulnerable residents with accessing needed health care services. At this, the committee’s second meeting since inception, Alice Young, Director for Program Services at SILO (Suffolk Independent Living Organization), will speak about the organization.
