Covid-19 Case Update February 18, 2021 4:15pm

Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on February 18, 2021. Last updated February 17, 2020.
COVID-19 Vaccine Information -  As of February 18 on Long Island:
•    295,285  COVID-19 vaccine first doses have been received
•    258,963  first doses have been administered, 88%
•    452,000  total doses have been received, 87%
•    393,401  first and second doses have been administered,

COVID-19 Viral Testing: On February 17:
•    13,817  COVID-19 tests were administered
•    2,763,513  total tests have been administered since March
•    461  new cases were reported
•    156,200  total cases have been reported since March
•    5.7% of those tested since March have been confirmed positive for COVID-19
•    3.3% tested positive in Suffolk County yesterday; 4.4% positive on a 7-day average
•    3.5% tested positive on Long Island yesterday; 4.4% positive on a 7-day average

Antibody TestingSuffolk County
•    38,514 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 have tested positive for antibodies
•    336,957 total were tested for antibodies
Fatalities, Suffolk County
•    12 fatalities
•    3,000  total fatalities
Hospitalization, Suffolk County, data from February 17, 2021
•    537 individuals were hospitalized, a decrease of 10 in 24 hours
•    57 were new admissions
•    103  patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a decrease of 3in 24 hours
•    74 patients were in the ICU and intubated
•    48  were discharged since the last report
•    11,338  discharged since March 22
Hospital Capacity, Suffolk County
•    3,211  hospital beds, 793 available, 25%
•    437  ICU beds, 90 available, 21%
