COVID-19 CASE UPDATE - June 26, 2020, 4:30 p.m.

Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on June 26, 2020. Last updated June 25, 2020 


  • 305,207 COVID-19 tests have been administered, an addition of 5,076 tests
  • 13.5 percent of those tested were confirmed positive for COVID-19

Tested Positive for COVID-19

  •  41,208 total cases
  • 57 new cases

Antibody Testing

  • 164,094 total tested for antibodies
  • 18,669 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 have tested positive for antibodies


  • 1 new fatality
  • 1,975 total fatalities

Hospitalization, updated June 26 at 4:30 p.m.

  • 77 individuals were hospitalized, no change from the number reported on June 25
  • 25 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a decrease of 1
  • 10 new admissions
  •  8 discharged
  • 5,335 discharged since March 22

NY Forward Statewide Guidelines

Beginning on June 25, persons traveling to New York, New Jersey or Connecticut from any state that has an infection rate above 10 per 100,000 on the seven-day rolling average or 10 percent of the total population positive on a seven-day rolling average are  required to quarantine for 14-days. As of today, the states that are above that level include:  

  • Alabama
  • Arkansas
  • Arizona
  • Florida
  • North Carolina
  • South Carolina
  • Washington
  • Utah
  • Texas
