| Qualifications
|
Applicant must have six (6) months of experience in a position that involves substantial public contact. Applicant must have graduated from a standard senior high school or possess a high school equivalency.
NOTE: Additional education beyond high school can be substituted for experience. Fifteen (15) credits equal six (6) months.

| Responsibilities
|
Assist Suffolk county residents in applying for Energy related Social Service programs. Conduct in person and telephone interviews; determine eligibility for Energy related benefits; Complete forms, organize files, input and retrieve data from computer programs; perform related duties as required.
|

Positions are available for 22 week assignment. Positions are filled on a continuous year round basis but may not be available at the time you want to apply. There are no benefits with these positions except eligibility for the NYS Retirement System.
