Nature Walk Series

Exploring Health & Conservation

Join us for a community walk with a health professional & environmental conservationists! We will chat about health, and how access to clean outdoor spaces can impact us and the environment. You can ask health questions, bird watch & learn about preserving our Long Island Sound. We will provide garden tours for those who cannot walk the trail.

How to Prepare for you Nature Walk!

  • Wear light-colored clothing, long pants & sleeves.
  • Consider using bug repellents & walk along the center of trails.
  • Conduct frequent clothing checks & carefully inspect your body for ticks.
  • Bring water, wear sunscreen (at least SPF30) and consider wearing a brimmed hat & comfortable, supportive shoes (no flip flops).
