In a 3-phase bilingual initiative, Herstory is collaborating with Mama Farm, Peconic Land Trust, Humanities Institute of Stony Brook University, Canio’s Books, and Suffolk County’s Office of Women’s Services, farmers, environmental activists, workers from all parts of the food chain, students in the public humanities, land donors and community stakeholders will come together to give voice to the personal stories that will help inform the creation of new solutions for a verdant, sustainable, and just use of our county’s natural and human resources.
