The Patient Protection Oversight Committee was created in
2013 by the Suffolk County Legislature to assist vulnerable residents with
accessing needed health care services.
A representative from Hudson River HealthCare (HRHCare) will speak about services
currently accessible through HRHCare, the “medical home” model, and the mission
of total patient-centered care. HRHCare is a network of community health
centers, in the Hudson Valley and on Long Island, which is nationally
recognized for providing low-cost, comprehensive services for individuals and
families. The presentation will provide valuable information to the committee
as it continues to assist and direct those seeking medical knowledge, care and
guidance.
