If a ticket is issued prior to April 1, 2013, and is returnable to the Suffolk TVB, it must be answered with DMV. If a ticket is not answered, that person’s license or privilege to drive in New York State may be suspended and a suspension termination fee may be due regardless of the final disposition of the ticket.
