Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone today released the following statement in response to Governor Cuomo’s announcement that the State will be allocating $26.4 million for sewer connections in Oakdale.
“Investing these funds in sewers for Oakdale is a smart decision that will increase water quality in the Great South Bay, and improve the quality of life in a community that has been waiting for sewers for decades. Thanks to Governor Cuomo’s leadership, we are finally turning the corner in the battle against nitrogen pollution.”
