May is Dedicated as Older Americans Month
Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone today announced The Suffolk County Office for the Aging and the Suffolk County Senior Citizen Advisory Board will be hosting their annual Senior Celebration Luncheon on Thursday, May 16, 2019.
“Our senior citizens continue to go above and beyond, working to give back and serve our communities,” said Suffolk County Executive Bellone. “The annual Senior Luncheon is the perfect way to pay tribute and honor to those who have worked to better our communities throughout the year.”
The celebration is in observance of Older Americans Month and will be held at Villa Lombardi’s, 877 Main Street in Holbrook, between the hours of 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Festivities include exhibitors, music, and dancing. Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone will also present the Suffolk County Senior of the Year award.
Residents are encouraged to register as early as possible due to limited seating. Reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis, until tickets are sold out. Tickets are $30.00 each and checks should be made payable to the Suffolk County Comptroller.

Full payment is required at registration, and reservations can not be processed without payment in full. Reservations are due April 19, 2019.
