(HAUPPAUGE, NY July 25, 2014)--Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone invites residents to participate in a job fair August 19 in Shirley.
“Our Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center brings together job seekers and recruiters in a service that matches the talents of our residents with employer needs,” Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone said. “This job fair gives residents a chance to meet with many recruiters face to face and in one place to find the best opportunities.”
The fair, scheduled for 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Mastics Moriches Shirley Community Library, will feature numerous employers, including 511 NYRideshare, A Gentle Touch Senior Care, Adecco, Aflac, Choice Personnel Inc. , CLP, Community Care Home Health, Developmental Disabilities Institute, Express Employment Pros, FCE Resources, FedEx, GoodTemps, Guardian, Gurwin, Ideal Home Care, Jennifer Furniture, M3 Technology, National Life Group, National Recruiting Group, NY Life Insurance, Premier Home Health Care, RBA of Long Island, SCPD, Serene Home Nursing, Slomins, St. Joseph’s College, Suffolk County Community College, UCP of Suffolk and Utopia Homecare.
The Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center is a cutting-edge endeavor which brings together both employers and job seekers, providing a comprehensive, one-stop approach to job search. Staffed with employment professionals from several private and public entities, the Employment Center functions as a full service human resources facility. The center supplies the job seeking customer with all the tools necessary for a self-directed or staff-assisted job search, and provides employers with facilities and workforce support.
