“Many people would like to turn their dreams into a small business,” Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone said. “We are pleased to offer this informational workshop on how people can get started on the path to independent ownership.”

A representative from the New York State Small Business Development Center will discuss how to start a business and become a small business owner.

More information is available from Labor Department counselors, or by phoning (631) 853-6600.  Space is limited and advance registration is required.

The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 17 at the Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center, 725 Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge.
