- 9.0% tested positive on Long Island yesterday; 9.7% positive on a 7-day average
- 9.8% tested positive in Suffolk County yesterday; 10.6% positive on a 7-day average

Antibody Testing
- 33,190 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 tested positive for antibodies
- 313,652 total have been tested for antibodies
Fatalities
- 15 fatalities

COVID-19 Hospitalizations data from January 8, 2021
- 800 individuals were hospitalized, an increase of 9 in 24 hours
- 105 were new admissions
- 130 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a decrease of 9 in 24 hours
- 77 patients were in the ICU and intubated
- 84 were discharged since the last report
- 8,484 have been discharged since March 22
