COVID-19 Case Update - November 30, 2021

Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on November 30, 2021. Last updated November 29, 2021

COVID-19 Vaccine Information

  • 1,121,132 people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 1,498
  • 1,009,361 people have completed their vaccine series, an increase of 1,012
  • 75.7% of the total population of 1,481,093 has received at least one dose
  • 88.9% of the population ages 18+ has received at least one dose
  • 68.1% percent of the total population has completed the vaccine series
  • 82.0% of the population ages 18+ has completed the vaccine series.
  • 79.7% of the population ages 12+ has completed the vaccine series.

  • Walk-in vaccination clinics are offering COVID vaccines and booster doses to Suffolk County residents who are age 5 and older. Appointments are recommend. Medical practitioners and EMS are on-site at all times to answer questions and tend to concerns. Click here for locations and times and parental consent forms.   • 5,881,931 total tests have been administered since March 2020
  • 567 new cases were reported
  • 38.3 cases per 100k; 38.4 on a 7-day average
  • 255,453 total cases have been reported since March 2020
  • 7.0% tested positive in Suffolk County; 5.5% positive on a 7-day average
  • 6.5% tested positive on Long Island; 5.0% positive on a 7-day average

  • COVID Antibodies: 97,848 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 have tested positive for antibodies; 425,748 total were tested for antibodies

Fatalities, Suffolk County

  • 6 fatalities
  • 3,688 total fatalities since March 2020

Hospitalization, Suffolk County, data is from November 29, 2021

  • 153 individuals were hospitalized, an increase of 6 in 24 hours
  • 16 were new admissions
  • 27 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a decrease of 1 in 24 hours
  • 17 patients were in the ICU and intubated
  • 9 were discharged since the last report
  • 17,424 have been discharged since March 22, 2020

Hospital Capacity, Suffolk County

  • 3,033 hospital beds, 670 available, 22%
  • 397 ICU beds, 130  available, 33%
