During the month of February, Suffolk County will be offering the Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to all eligible residents at several of our Immunization Action Program clinic locations. First, second, third and booster doses of the Pfizer vaccine are available at this clinic to everyone who is eligible:
- Children ages 5 years and older are eligible to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.
- Booster shots are recommended to everyone ages 12 years and older who is vaccinated at least 5 months after the last dose in their primary series. Teens ages 12-17 should get only the Pfizer BioNTech booster.
- Moderately or severely immunocompromised people ages 5 years and older who completed their Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine primary series and ages 18 years or older who completed their Moderna COVID-19 vaccine primary series should plan to get an additional primary dose at least 28 days after their second dose.

Additional COVID-19-only vaccination clinics for children and adults are scheduled to take place at the H. Lee Dennison building located at 100 Veterans Memorial Highway in Hauppauge. The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine as well as the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine are being offered at specific clinics. The listing is updated weekly. Residents who have appointments will have priority. Walk-ins are welcome and should at least one-half hour before the clinic is scheduled to close.
All persons must show identification. For children 5-17 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent for vaccination, in person, by phone at the time of the vaccination appointment, or by completing a consent form. For minors who are 5 through 15 years of age, an adult caregiver must accompany the minor. Link for consent form.
Children will need a second shot of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine three weeks after their first shot.
Medical practitioners and emergency medical services will be on-site at all times at each clinic to answer any questions and tend to any needs or concerns.
