The Pesticide Advisory Committee was established through Local Law 34-1999, which was enacted for the purpose of phasing out the use of pesticides by the County for many pest control purposes.
Items on the Agenda include exemption requests from the Department of Public Works for structural pest control; the Town of Shelter Island for the deployment of 4-poster devices to control ticks and the Town of Brookhaven for treatments to address perennial pepperweed in West Meadow Beach Park.
Due to new security procedures at the Dennison Building, please notify me in advance if you will be attending this meeting so security can have a list of attendees in advance.
