PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to N.Y. Election Law Section 9-208(4) a manual recount of the contest for the office of Member of County Committee, Democratic Party, Town of Shelter Island ED #1 will be held on July 11, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the offices of the Suffolk County Board of Elections located at 700 Yaphank Avenue, Yaphank, New York 11980. The manual recount is required on the ground that the margin of victory is less than 20 votes.
Gregory P. Toner received 68 votes and Glenn W. Waddington received 59 votes.
