Rocky Point (Broadway) Beach in the Town of Brookhaven and Emma Rose Elliston
Beach in North Sea, in the Town of Southampton has been lifted, as recent water
samples meet New York State standards.

to Suffolk County Commissioner of Health Dr. James Tomarken, bathing in
bacteria-contaminated water can result in gastrointestinal illness, as well as
infections of the eyes, ears, nose, and throat.
