- 1,492,500 COVID-19 tests were administered, an addition of 18,399 tests
- 1,111 new cases were reported
- 63,758 total cases
- 4.3% of those tested since March have been confirmed positive for COVID-19
- 5.6% tested positive on Long Island yesterday; 4.5% positive on a 7-day average
- 6.0% tested positive in Suffolk County yesterday; 4.9% positive on a 7-day average
Antibody Testing
- 31,245 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 tested positive for antibodies
- 298,171 total were tested for antibodies
Fatalities
- 3 fatalities
- 2,062 total fatalities
COVID-19 Hospitalizations data from December 2, 2020
- 310 individuals were hospitalized, an increase of 23 in 24 hours
- 48 were new admissions
- 56 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an increase of 2 in 24 hours
- 22 patients were in the ICU and intubated
- 25 were discharged since the last report
- 6,486 have been discharged since March 22
Hospital Capacity
- 3,000 hospital beds, 598 available, 20 percent
- 397 ICU beds, 103 available, 26 percent
