Suffolk County officials will join representatives from Island Harvest, Sustainable Long Island, and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County to kick off Suffolk County’s Healthy Corner Store Project, a unique trial to encourage local businesses to distribute and promote fresh, healthful foods to residents who live in communities that lack access to affordable options.
