COVID-19 Update
The Coronavirus is affecting many parts of the country including our airports. This is a rapidly evolving situation and CDC and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are updating information and guidance as it becomes available. Gabreski Airport remains open at this time, including the Air Traffic Control Tower and Sheltair – our Fixed Base Operator (FBO). The FBO building is currently open to staff members only. Passengers are being shuttled to their vehicles to avoid transmission of the virus to staff and other passengers. Fueling services are available by calling on 130.2 MHz or (631) 288-9866. Please check back frequently or contact Sheltair for updated conditions. We understand that this may be an inconvenience, but please work with us to minimize the impact on our passengers and workforce.

Remember to Fly Neighborly - Voluntary Noise Abatement Procedures are in effect all year around. Procedures are defined for Helicopters, Jet Aircraft, and Single and Multi-Engine Propeller Aircraft (See noise abatement section of this site). Make best effort to and avoid flying over populated areas to reduce noise and help our neighbors on the ground!
Fly safely and enjoy the season!
