Suffolk County, acting through its Department of Economic Development and Planning transfers designated habitable improved parcels, uninhabitable improved parcels, and vacant parcels directly to qualified not-for-profit corporations for the purpose of constructing and/or reconstructing affordable housing for Veterans as described in §36-2E of the Suffolk County Administrative Code.
