The Suffolk County Department of Public Works’ Division of Vector Control plans to treat parts of the following salt marshes by helicopter to control mosquito larvae. 

If weather permits, the Suffolk County Department of Public Works will treat sections of the following communities as part of its ongoing effort to control adult mosquitoes.

The Suffolk County Department of Health Services’ Division of Environmental Quality will hold its regular monthly Board of Review Hearing on, Thursday, September 17, 2015.

The Suffolk County Department of Health Services will hold a meeting of The Board of Health on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.

 

The Suffolk County Department of Health Services (SCDHS), the Town of Islip, and the Suffolk County  S.P.C.A  will offer free rabies vaccinations* for dogs, cats and ferrets.
