Aerial Spraying for Mosquito Larvae Scheduled

The Suffolk County Department of Public Works’ Division of Vector Control plans to treat parts of the following salt marshes by helicopter to control mosquito larvae

First Mosquito Sample to Test Positive for West Nile Virus

A mosquito sample has tested positive for West Nile virus. The sample,was collected on June 30, 2016 in Northport. This is the first mosquito sample to test positive for West Nile virus this year.
