Alarm Management Program

Food Manager Classroom Training

The traditional classroom-based Food Manager’s course is offered monthly and is taught by experienced Department food safety instructors in our Yaphank classroom over 3 half days. An exam is given on the third class day.

Consumer Affairs

Suffolk County Code requires that all applicants for a home improvement license pass a written examination on the content of Suffolk County Code Chapter 563 and New York State (NYS) General Business Law.

Certificate of Residence

Comptroller

If you are a Suffolk County resident and are attending a community college that is not located in Suffolk County, you may apply for a certificate of residence. Once you receive the certificate of residence from Suffolk County, you must submit it to the college you are attending. The certificate of residence will enable the college to charge you resident tuition. Without the certificate of residence, you will be charged the non-resident tuition which could be double the amount of residency tuition.
